Joanna McBride
Joanna is the creator of tammen + rose architecture, a custom residential design firm in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Before founding t+r, Joanna worked in Chicago for two well-established modern architecture firms. Her architecture is an amalgam of art and technology, with her rare combination of artistic and technical skills blending effortlessly in her work.
Named one of the 15 Best Architects in the Phoenix area by Direct Build, Joanna has been invited to be a guest juror at various design schools and universities in Chicago and Arizona. She holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a MArch from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Actively involved in her profession and the design community, Joanna has taught design at Arizona State University, served as Chair of AIA CRAN (the American Institute of Architects Custom Residential Architects Network) in the Phoenix area, was a member of the AIA CRAN Advisory Group and has served on the Board of the Local Chapter of the AIA.

Isabella Black
With extensive experience in the creative fields, Isabella focuses on presenting tammen + rose through social media. After completing photography courses, she soon became involved in expanding a portfolio for a variety of themes, and combining this skill with writing to capture the features of many subjects. She was awarded the lead photo editing position in her high school's yearbook organization in August 2021. Isabella will continue her studies at Northern Arizona University.
