Noto, Sicily and Baroque Era Architecture

Noto holds a fascinating history after being destroyed by an earthquake in 1693, and rebuilt by the inspiration of three main architects, Rosario Gagliardi, Vincenzo Sinatra and Paolo Labisi. They left behind theatrical and impressive architecture that defined the Baroque style.
